Exit My Long CPO July 2010 Future Position

Date of ecntry: 30 April 2010
I longed at 2543 for 2 contracts when the price broke 2540. My stop loss will be very tight.

Date of exit: Same Day
I shorted to close my position at 2540 with a loss of 4 points each contract including 1 point for commission.

My Comment: I exited the trade since the price is going no way. There is no need for me to hold on to it.

Wow! What A Day. Reversed To Short CPO

Date of entry: 27 April 2010
I turned short CPO July 2010 future contract at 2535 with 2 contracts. It turned out 2535 is the low of the day. It touched the low and rebounded & closed at 2550. What a day!

Date of exit: 28 April 2010
I closed my short position at 2551 with a loss of 18 points included 2 points for commission.
My Comment: The market rebounded after touched the low of 2529.

Quick In Quick Out: Close CPO July 2010 Long Position

Date of entry: 27 April 2010
I Longed CPO July 2010 future contract at 2566 for 2 contracts. It is a breakup.

Date of exit: The same day
I shorted to close my position at 2564 with a loss of 3 points with 1 point commission added. It is a candlestick shooting star pattern. I just want to get out and wait for the market to show me the way.

Turned Shorting CPO July 2010

Date of entry: 21 April 2010
I reversed my position to short CPO July 2010 future contract at 2475 for 2 contracts. There is a high chance that the price would continue the down side after the recent rebound.
Date of exit 1: 22 April 2010
I closed 1 contract at 2473 in the morning (break even after deducting 2 points for commission). The price did not continue the downside.

Date of exit 2: 22 April 2010
I closed the final contract at 2494 with a loss of 21 points added to 2 points for commissions. (21points x RM25 = RM 525)
The balance of my account is RM 23,450 after the loss of RM 525.

Close Final Long Position: CPO July 2010 Future

Date of entry: 20 April 2010
I longed CPO July 2010 future contract (2 contracts) at 2487. It is a breakup. The only concern is the price is still way below my moving average.

Date of exit 1: Same Day
I closed 1 contract at the close with the price of 2498 which a gain of 10 points after deducting 1 point for commission.
I remain the other contract for tommorrow.

Date of exit 2: 21 April 2010
I closed the final contract at 2492 with a gain of 3 points.
The balance of my account is RM 23,975 after the profit of RM 325 (13 x RM25 = RM 325).

Hammer With Long Tail For CPO Futures

I wanted to short at the open this morning but the hammer formation of candle stick with long tail did not convince me to take the short position. It turned out the price was hovering around 2473 to 2484.

Short CPO June 2010

I shorted CPO June contract at 2514 for 2 contracts this morning. The price broke below the low of 2522.
Date of exit: Same Day
I closed the position to long at 2530 lossing 17 points per contract totaling 34 points which bring me a total loss of RM 850 in value.
The balance of my account is RM 23,650 after the loss of RM 850.
