Reversed To Short CPO At The Open

Date of entry: 7 Jan 2010
I reversed my position to short CPO March 2010 Future Contract at 2651 for two contracts right after I closed my long positions which were done yesterday. It is extreme hard to do but I will just have to do what I have to do.

Date of exit: 8 Jan 2010
I closed the position at 2600 with a profit of 49 points after the 2 points commission. The stochastic is at oversold area and there is high tendency that it will bound. I just want to feel the profit again.

The new balance of my account is RM 32,075 after the profit of RM 2,450 (49points x 2 contracts x RM25 = Profit RM 2,450).
(The details of my account is at My Future Trading Account Records 2010 )

  1. Gap up or gap down opening is normal in trading. When opening price jump over the stoploss, it is good to trade the opening price. I think you've done well on that. Don't bother too much about the money. It is just a way to keep record.
